Meet the Pastor
Pastor Richard Kwakye is a seasoned pastor with over a decade of experience in full-time pastoral ministry. He is the Head Pastor of Pentecost Community Church Services, a Singapore organisation to which The Church of Pentecost Singapore is the church ministry arm of. He has been privileged to shepherd over 20 different congregations during his time in ministry in the UK, bringing the love and hope of Christ to each community he serves. Pastor Richard is a devoted family man, happily married to his wife Dokkaas and blessed with four wonderful children – Tabitha (8), Taliyah (6), Triumph (3), and Trinity (3). In addition to his passion for pastoral ministry, he is also an avid writer, enjoying creative writing of all forms. Pastor Richard has some published books to his name including; ‘Let girls be girls’, ‘Let boys be Boys’, ‘Space Adventures: A collection of Cosmic Tales,’ and ‘Where is grandpa now.’ With his unwavering dedication to God and his community, Pastor Richard is committed to living out his calling to serve and inspire those around him. His vision and calling is “Leading hearts to discover the real God amidst a sea of substitutes.”

We have a budding Men and Women Ministry preparing adults for a spirit filled life. Activities and events are being held to orient the believer to be steadfast in their faith and resilient about making it to heaven.

We have a strong and dynamic prayer ministry dedicated to praying for families, the church, community and nation.
OUTREACH & Support Groups
The church prioritises outreaches and community service and continues to prepare unequivocally to give back to others. These groups are live groups serving our nation accordingly.
SOCIAL MEDIA
We love to bring hope to all through the powerful tool of social media. The digital world is a real world and we strive to enthusiastically o connect, inspire, and spread the love of Christ through this means also. Join this ministry!
ChildreN & TEEN Programs
The future must be harnessed and nurtured and hence at our church, Children and teens ministry is of high importance. Resources and programs are dedicated to these ministries to prepare children for tomorrow.
Global Missions
The Church has mission partners all over the world from Ghana to the US and the UK. We believe in the universal church and eagerly pray for the Kingdom of God to be established all over the globe.

This year’s Easter Convention was held under the theme “Dead to Sin, alive in Christ” taken from Romans 6:11. Pastor Richard delivers a message entitled “Dead to Sin” on Good Friday. The second part of his message, entitled “Alive in Christ” was delivered on Easter Sunday.

What is a typical service like?
At The Church of Pentecost Singapore, our church service is an intimate and heartfelt worship experience. We cherish a blend of worship through songs and prayer, creating a space for deep connection with God. Testimonies are welcome and celebrated, and after every sermon, we pray passionately, seeking God’s transformation and guidance to apply His Word to our lives. Join us as we encounter God’s presence, grow in faith, and experience His life-changing power.
WhAT do you offer for YOUNG PEOPLE?
At The Church of Pentecost Singapore, we hold teenagers and young adults in high regard, recognising their immense value and potential. Our dedicated pastors invest significant time and effort in building relationships with them, both within and outside of church. We provide discipleship tracks, empowering classes, and engaging skill-enhancing projects to equip them for life’s journey. Opportunities abound for showcasing their talents and cultivating leadership skills. Here the unique gifts and passions of young people are celebrated, and they’ll find a community that believes in their limitless potential.
What times are your services?
We hold a Tamil Service every Sunday morning at 8.30am – 10.45am. We then hold an Afro Caribbean Worship Service at 11.30am to 1.30pm, then an International Service from 2.30pm to 4.30pm . if you would like to grow with us and reckon you can make a difference with your talent or gifting then please feel free to get in touch with us via [email protected].
